# Apex-Domain

Der Name ganz oben in einer DNS-Zone, ohne etwas davor, etwa example.com statt www.example.com. Hier liegen der SOA-Record und die NS-Records der Zone. An diesem Namen kann kein CNAME-Record stehen, was es erschwert, ihn auf manche Hosting-Dienste zu verweisen.
