# ARIN

American Registry for Internet Numbers

Die regionale Internet-Registry (RIR) für Nordamerika: die gemeinnützige Organisation, die dort IP-Adressen und Netznummern vergibt. Sie befasst sich mit Nummern, nicht mit Domainnamen. Zweimal im Jahr, im April und im Oktober, hält sie ein Public Policy and Members Meeting ab, das sich auch aus der Ferne verfolgen lässt.
