# autoritativer Server

Ein DNS-Server, der die offiziellen Records einer Domain oder Zone enthält und endgültige Antworten dazu gibt. Resolver fragen autoritative Server, wenn sie noch keine gespeicherte Antwort haben. Die Nameserver einer Domain sind ihre autoritativen Server.
