# Datenschutzbehörde

Eine Behörde, die die DSGVO in einem Land der Europäischen Union durchsetzt und bei Verstößen Bußgelder verhängen kann. Manche Länder, etwa Deutschland, haben mehr als eine. Der Europäische Datenschutzausschuss vereint die Leitung je einer Behörde aus jedem Land und den Europäischen Datenschutzbeauftragten. Seine Schreiben an die ICANN prägten die Änderungen am WHOIS.
