# DDoS-Angriff

Distributed Denial of Service

Ein Angriff, der einen Dienst gleichzeitig mit Datenverkehr von vielen Rechnern überflutet, bis er nicht mehr antwortet. Ist das Ziel ein DNS-Anbieter, eine Registry oder die Root-Server, kann jede davon abhängige Domain unerreichbar werden. Anycast-Netze und Reservekapazität sind die wichtigsten Abwehrmittel.
