# Delegation (TLD)

Der Schritt, durch den eine TLD im Internet funktioniert: ihre Aufnahme samt ihren Nameservern in die Root-Zone. Bei einer neuen gTLD folgt die Delegation, nachdem das Registry Agreement unterzeichnet ist und die technischen Tests bestanden sind. Dasselbe Wort wird verwendet, wenn eine Domain auf Nameserver verweist.
