# Founders-Programm

Ein Programm, bei dem die Registry einer neuen TLD vor dem öffentlichen Start eine kleine Zahl von Namen an ausgewählte frühe Nutzer vergibt. Im Gegenzug verpflichten sich diese, auf dem Namen eine Website aufzubauen und zu bewerben. Bei gTLDs müssen solche Programme in die Regeln der ICANN für Startprogramme passen, die Markeninhaber schützen.
