Sonderregeln für Zeichenfolgen neuer gTLDs, die Orten entsprechen. Namen von Ländern und Gebieten können überhaupt nicht beantragt werden. Hauptstädte, manche Städtenamen, subnationale Regionen und Weltregionen brauchen ein Unterstützungsschreiben oder eine Nichteinwendungserklärung der betroffenen Regierungen oder Behörden.
