# geoTLD

Eine gTLD, die nach einem Ort benannt ist, etwa einer Stadt oder Region. Bewerbungen für viele geografische Namen brauchen die Unterstützung oder Nichteinwendung der zuständigen Regierung oder Behörde. GeoTLDs sind gTLDs mit ICANN-Verträgen, keine länderspezifischen Domains.
