# Negative Caching

Das Zwischenspeichern der Information, dass ein Name oder Record nicht existiert, damit dieselbe erfolglose Abfrage nicht wiederholt wird. Wie lange das gilt, legen Werte im SOA-Record der Zone fest. Deshalb kann ein neu angelegter Name eine Weile fehlend erscheinen, wenn jemand ihn zu früh abgefragt hat.
