# PKI

Public-Key-Infrastruktur

Die Gesamtheit der Zertifikate, Zertifizierungsstellen und Regeln, mit der Software prüft, wem ein öffentlicher Schlüssel gehört, zum Beispiel dass ein Webserver zu der Domain gehört, die er angibt. TLS-Zertifikate für Websites sind ihr bekanntester Einsatz. Das PKI Consortium, eine Branchengruppe, veranstaltet eine jährliche Konferenz zur Post-Quanten-Kryptografie.
