# Registry-Transition

Die Übergabe des Betriebs einer TLD von einem Betreiber oder Backend-Anbieter an einen anderen. Anlass kann ein Verkauf, ein neuer Vertrag oder ein Ausfall sein. Die ICANN hat für gTLDs feste Verfahren, und ein Wechsel des Backend-Anbieters muss genehmigt und getestet werden. Registrare müssen sich unter Umständen an ein neues System anbinden.
