# RIPE NCC

RIPE Network Coordination Centre

Die regionale Internet-Registry (RIR) für Europa, den Nahen Osten und Zentralasien: die gemeinnützige Organisation, die dort IP-Adressen und Netznummern vergibt. Sie befasst sich mit Nummern, nicht mit Domainnamen. Mit Sitz in den Niederlanden veranstaltet sie zweimal im Jahr die RIPE Meetings sowie regionale Treffen und führt das Sekretariat von MENOG.
