# Second-Level-Domain

Der Teil eines Domainnamens direkt links von der TLD, etwa example in example.com. Meist ist das der Teil, den Nutzer registrieren und bezahlen. Manche ccTLDs nutzen feste zweite Ebenen wie .co.uk, sodass Namen eine Ebene tiefer registriert werden.
