# String Contention

Die Situation, wenn zwei oder mehr Bewerber in einer Runde für neue gTLDs denselben String beantragen oder Strings, die so ähnlich sind, dass Nutzer sie verwechseln würden. Die Bewerbungen werden in einem Contention Set zusammengefasst, und nur eine davon kann weiterverfolgt werden.
