# Subdomain

Ein Name, der unterhalb einer registrierten Domain angelegt wird, etwa shop.example.com unter example.com. Der Domaininhaber kann Subdomains in seinem eigenen DNS anlegen, ohne etwas neu zu registrieren. Registrys und Registrare sind an Subdomains normalerweise nicht beteiligt.
