# Temporary Specification

Notfallregeln, die der ICANN-Vorstand im Mai 2018 beschloss, damit gTLD-Registrys und -Registrare ihre Verträge erfüllen und zugleich die DSGVO einhalten konnten. Sie verbargen die meisten personenbezogenen Daten im WHOIS. Sie liefen 2019 aus; es folgten eine Übergangs-Policy und später eine dauerhafte Policy.
