# TSIG

Transaction Signature

Ein Verfahren, mit dem zwei DNS-Server einander mit einem gemeinsamen geheimen Schlüssel ihre Identität nachweisen. Es dient vor allem dem Schutz von Zonentransfers und automatischen Aktualisierungen, damit nur zugelassene Server eine Zone kopieren oder ändern können.
