# BIMI

Brand Indicators for Message Identification

An email specification that lets a sender publish its logo through a DNS record so that supporting mailbox providers can show it next to messages. It only works for domains whose DMARC policy tells receivers to quarantine or reject failing mail. Some mailbox providers also ask for a certificate proving rights to the logo.
