# Cooperative Agreement

A long-running agreement between Verisign and the NTIA, an agency of the United States government. Among other things, it limits how much Verisign may raise the wholesale price of .com and bars it from acting as a .com registrar. It sits alongside Verisign's .com contract with ICANN.
