# DNS Abuse Mitigation PDP

The two policy processes on DNS abuse that the GNSO Council started on 11 December 2025. The first considers whether a registrar that finds one abusive domain must also check other domains linked to the same customer. Its Initial Report appeared on 18 August 2026. The second considers safeguards on access to registering domains in bulk.
