# DoH

DNS over HTTPS

A way to send DNS questions inside an encrypted HTTPS connection, the same kind used by secure websites. People on the network path cannot easily read or change the lookups. Browsers often use it to reach a resolver they choose, which may bypass the local network's own resolver.
