# domain tasting

Registering many domains, checking for a few days how much traffic or ad income each one gets, and deleting the weak ones for a credit before the add grace period ends. It was common in the 2000s. ICANN's AGP Limits Policy and fees on excess deletions largely ended it in gTLDs.
