# DoQ

DNS over QUIC

A way to send DNS questions over QUIC, a newer encrypted transport protocol that also underlies recent versions of web traffic. It protects lookups from being read or altered on the way, like DoT and DoH, and is designed to set up connections faster and cope better with lost packets.
