# Empowered Community

The legal body through which ICANN's community groups can enforce their powers over the Board. Its members are the Address Supporting Organization, the ccNSO, the GNSO, the ALAC and the GAC. Together they can reject budgets and Bylaws changes and remove Board members. It was created in 2016.
