# GAC Consensus Advice

Advice that ICANN's Governmental Advisory Committee agrees on by consensus and sends to the ICANN Board about one or more new gTLD applications. The Board must consider it under ICANN's Bylaws and then decides whether the application can go ahead, change or stop.
