# IDN ccTLD Fast Track

The ICANN process, approved in 2009, through which countries and territories ask for a country code TLD in their own non-Latin script. A request goes through string evaluation and then delegation. In 2024 the ccNSO adopted a lasting policy to replace it and sent it to the ICANN Board in June.
