# IDN TLD

Internationalized Domain Name Top-Level Domain

A top-level domain written in a non-Latin script, such as Arabic, Chinese or Cyrillic, or with accented Latin letters, as in .vermögensberater. It can be a gTLD or a ccTLD. In the DNS it is stored as an A-label, an ASCII form produced with Punycode that starts with xn--.
