# Interim Registration Data Policy

The stopgap ICANN policy that applied to gTLD registries and registrars from 20 May 2019. It told them to keep following the rules of the expired Temporary Specification while the permanent policy was written. It ended when the Registration Data Policy took full effect on 21 August 2025.
