# NIS2

Directive on measures for a high common level of cybersecurity across the Union

A European Union directive on cybersecurity, also called the NIS2 Directive. Its Article 28 requires TLD registries and registration service providers to keep accurate, complete registration data, verify it, publish data that is not personal and answer lawful access requests. Each European Union country applies it through national law.
