# Nominet DRS

Nominet Dispute Resolution Service

The dispute process for .uk domain names. The complainant must show rights in a name and that the domain is an abusive registration, meaning it took unfair advantage of those rights, or unfairly harmed them, when registered or in later use. It includes a mediation stage before an independent expert decides, and since 7 July 2026 WIPO, not Nominet, administers new cases.
