# PPSAI

Privacy and Proxy Services Accreditation Issues

An ICANN policy effort to create an accreditation program for privacy and proxy services, with rules on labeling, relaying messages and revealing customers. The Board adopted the recommendations in 2016, but implementation stopped in 2019 because of GDPR work. It restarted in 2024 and is still unfinished.
