# RDRS

Registration Data Request Service

A free ICANN service for requesting hidden gTLD registration data, also used to measure demand. Registrars take part voluntarily, and only those taking part receive requests and decide on disclosure. The two-year pilot ended in November 2025, and ICANN's Board extended the service for up to two years. In March 2026 the Board declined to adopt SSAD.
