# Specification 11

The part of the gTLD Registry Agreement that holds a registry's public interest commitments. Among other things, it requires registries to make registrars forbid abusive uses in their customer terms, and to check their TLD regularly for DNS abuse, such as phishing, malware and botnets, and keep records of the results.
