# Switch

A Swiss non-profit foundation, set up in 1987 by the Swiss Confederation and the university cantons, that belongs to the Swiss universities. It is the registry for .ch under a mandate from the Federal Office of Communications, and it also runs .li on behalf of Liechtenstein's Office for Communications. With DENIC and nic.at, it takes turns hosting the yearly Domain pulse conference.
