# transfer approval and rejection

The answer to a pending transfer request. The losing registrar can approve it with a positive response or refuse it with a negative response. In gTLDs a refusal is allowed only for listed reasons, such as fraud or an objection by the holder. With no answer after five days, the registry approves the transfer by itself.
