# delega (TLD)

Il passaggio che fa funzionare un TLD su internet: l'aggiunta del TLD e dei suoi name server alla zona radice. Per un nuovo gTLD, la delega avviene dopo la firma del Registry Agreement e il superamento dei test tecnici. La stessa parola si usa quando si fa puntare un dominio verso dei name server.
