# 注册管理机构协议终止

ICANN与gTLD注册管理运行机构之间的合同应任何一方的要求而终止。随后，ICANN决定是将该TLD转给新的运行机构，还是将其从根区中移除。许多闲置的品牌TLD就是以这种方式结束的。
