The meeting takes place in Lisbon, Portugal, from 13 to 18 March 2027. ICANN's meetings calendar gives the dates and the city but neither the venue nor the mode; ICANN87, in October 2026, is held in person and online. The next meeting, ICANN89, follows in Vancouver in June 2027.
The Global Cyber Alliance and a working group of more than 30 organizations are testing the Domain Trust Badge, a free, voluntary endorsement for registries and registrars that validates their anti-abuse work. The badge is targeted for ICANN 88 in March 2027.
